Visual Studio Code releases new updates every month with new features and bug fixes, and the February 2025 release is now available.
There have been enhancements to GitHub Copilot with predictive editing, autonomous task completion, smarter code search, improved terminal and notebook support, and UI and workflow refinements.
The compile step in VS Code when using the InterSystems VS Code extensions appears to modify line endings in our class files when newly pulled from remote repo.
What steps can we take to stop this happening? / What settings can we modify?
I am using a routing process (EnsLib.MsgRouter.RoutingEngine) to transform and route objects inside a production. My class definition of an object that is created by a transformation has an Index like:
I have a little problem, I need to diplay the data based on input status (first time and after)
this is the data:
and this what I need to display
the notes become new because it is the first time that the data has been inputed, and it will become old if we have the data before (2nd data, 3rd data the notes will become old).
If one of your packages on OEX receives a review you get notified by OEX only of YOUR own package. The rating reflects the experience of the reviewer with the status found at the time of review. It is kind of a snapshot and might have changed meanwhile. Reviews by other members of the community are marked by * in the last column.
I also placed a bunch of Pull Requests on GitHub when I found a problem I could fix. Some were accepted and merged, and some were just ignored. So if you made a major change and expect a changed review just let me know.
We've just started using Health Connect and I've found that a lot of the messages we get from our patient admin system (System C's CareFlow EPR) don't match the standard 2.3.1 schema (eg 2.3.1 ADT A02 message spec doesn't include NK1 segments, but the ones we receive do)
Does anyone have a custom schema they use for messages from CareFlow EPR that they'd be willing to share?
Is there a 'how to' guide for doing this? I can't find anything specific, although, I know it can be done, because I have worked on a Cache/ Universe set up.
While upgrading old Ensemble and Health Connect applications to V 2024.1 we are installing many webgateways since the private webserver is deprecated.
Configuring the "Default Parameters" we can determine the "Event Log Rotation Size" but not the count of preserved logfiles. So even if the webgateway cuts the logs in pieces they could fill up the disk space entirely for there seems to be no cleanup-job for old logfiles.
What is the recommended way to deal with this situation?
Using Flask, REST API, and IAM with InterSystems IRIS
Part 2 – Flask App
Flask is a web development microframework written in Python. It is known for being simple, flexible, and enabling rapid application development.
Installing Flask is very simple. Once you have python installed correctly on your operating system, we need to install the flask library with the pip command. For REST API consumption, it is advisable to use the requests library. The following link provides a guide to installing flask: https://flask.palletsprojects.com/en/stable/installation/
All pods are assigned a Quality of Service (QoS). These are 3 levels of priority pods are assigned within a node.
The levels are as following:
1) Guaranteed: High Priority
2) Burstable: Medium Priority
3) BestEffort: Low Priority
It is a way of telling the kubelet what your priorities are on a certain node if resources need to be reclaimed. This great GIF below by Anvesh Muppeda explains it.

how to convert from json into sda container and then to fhir bundle resource. What are the out of the box DTL transformation class for this. Source would be my json that includes a few resources and targer should be a SDA container than will again be source to another transformation for which the target will be FHIR bundle. What I want to know is the target HS. 1for both SDA container and FHIR bundle. Thanks!

I just installed IRIS 2022.1 onto a new VM in the MAG (Azure Government) cloud. The install was successful. Everything looked fine.
When attempting to stop this instance of IRIS, the system hangs at "Withdrawing from License Domain". Eventually, my session is disconnected. The instance then has a status of "sign-on inhibited". To stop this instance, I need to force it.
My query that I am running on my Custom SQL Inbound Service has columns that are larger than the typical string length. How do I enlarge the SQL Snapshot Column limitations
I'm looking for some simple heuristics to estimate the size on disk of a database based on average size of messages, number of messages per day and purge frequency. The purpose is for estimation of disk space requirements.
