I have a process that takes data from a CSV file (actually a record mapper object) and creates a nicely formatted JSON string I would love to send this along to a RESTful business operation. However no matter what I try, I continually get <INVALID OREF> errors when trying to populate the object that extends Ens.Request to give it the JSON string.
I can add strings, other objects, you name it - but stuffing a JSON formatted variable/object into another object I want to send someplace is proving to be an impossibility.
I am using the EnsLib.RecordMap.Operation.BatchFileOperation to write a batch to a file but for some reason this has been working fine as of yesterday I had a problem with the cache databases filling up running out of memory so had to compact my database and gain space now when I run the operation I get the above error .Of course in my batch table there is no batch record with ID 1.The message is passed with the correct header information but still get this error any suggestions why?
In previous articles on iKnow, we described a number of demo applications (iKnow demo apps parts 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5) that are either part of the regular kit or can be easily installed from GitHub. All of those applications assumed you already had your iKnow domain ready, with your data of interest loaded and ready for exploration. In this article, we'll shed more light on how exactly you can get to that stage: how you define and then build a domain.
IoT (Internet of Things) is a network of interconnected things, including vehicles, machines, buildings, domestic devices or any other thing with embedded TCP/IP remote connection available, allowing it to receive and send execution instructions and data. Each thing provides one or more services to the IoT network. For instance, smart light bulbs provide services of turning off and turning on the lights; smart air conditioners maintain the environment temperature; smart cameras send notifications when capturing movement.
Working in support, I usually get asked how many days I should keep journals. Should it be two days or after two backups? More? Less? Why two?
The correct answer (for most of the environments) is that you should keep the journals since the last validated Backup. I.e., until you don't check if a Backup is valid (restoring the file and checking with the Integrity utility), you can't be sure there is a good copy of your data and can't purge the journals safely.
This post provides further detail on the suggestions from the DeepSee Troubleshooting Guide about what to do if a user is not able to view a listing in a DeepSee cube, but instead sees errors like this:
ERROR #5540: SQLCODE: -99 Message: User <username> is not privileged for the operation [zfindStatement+118^%SQL.DynamicStatement.1:<namespace>] (8)
I am attempting to set up a security role for our support team so they can have read access to the production and messages.
I have given the role RW rights on the resource associated with the database. However, when I log into Management Portal and select "Ensemble", the "Available Ensemble namespaces" list is empty.
What permissions do i need to set to be able to navigate to the production?
There are many projects which work on InterSystems products, and they are not always written only in ObjectScript. I think some of you working with different programming languages and already have some experience with other editors, and hope you already have a favourite online editor.
My current choice is VSCode, whereas you may already know I have added an extension to support ObjectScript.
I have task to find out possibility call method from background task. I need run some class with methods. I've found out than I can run it via ^%ZSTART routine. And now I wanna to learn is it possible to call this class and run it's methods.
I' am using Cache Object Binding for .NET, our Cache Version is Cache for Windows (x86-64) 2010.2 (Build 454U).
How can I set the connection for Cache List of Objects? Here is my sample code.
//CACHEObject as my file generated from OBJECT BINDING
CACHEObject.ContainerImco containerImco = new CACHEObject.ContainerImco(cacheConnection); CacheListOfObjects<CACHEObject.ContainerImco> lcontainerImco = new CacheListOfObjects<CACHEObject.ContainerImco>();
Hi everybody, We have written a convert from Punycode. This is reformed from javascript. Perhaps many non-English systems need to use this feature in domain name resolution. Anyone can use and change the code as needed.
I want to demonstrate using Git via Server-side Source Control hooks (to allow both Studio and Atelier to access a Shared Dev namespace), and I was planning to use the popular Caché Git hooks:
I've been tasked with an interface that needs to supply some additional metadata for the indexing of HL7v2 messages. After toying with a couple of ideas, I thought that it would be useful to subclass EnsLib.HL7.Message, add a %DynamicObject property, and store the metadata in it (it ends up getting sent to the target in JSON form anyway).
I want to add ports 9100 and 9101 in addition to 52773. I read on docker container documentation that this is not possible on a already ran image. Currently it starts the google cloud IRIS health container automatically without me able to specify the additional ports. How can I add ports to Google cloud IRIS Health container?
Trying to evaluate it and work out how we could use it.
As a standard application database. Object or relational etc. does not matter.
Issue is ObjectScript.
So:
1) Can we develop, maintain and use an IRIS database and never use ObjectScript i.e. use only Java, Python, C++ interfaces etc. (exactly which one does not matter)? Would that make designing and using the IRIS database more prone to inefficiency and error?
We used to have this Java applet in our CSP page to "print all" and "download all" PDF medical reports. We want this applet so that the user won't have to open each PDF in the browser just to print it.
But now most browsers do not support Java applets anymore due to security concerns, so that Java application is down. We tried to migrate to Java Web Start but don't know how to invoke the JNLP file from the CSP page. I am new to Cache so any help would be greatly appreciated.
looking for what the timeout value is for the connection for shadowing. and if it is known the timeout for mirroring also.
I'm currently getting this error and when we go to mirroring it would be good to know also, this way we can go back to our network vendor and give them as much info as possible.
